Together with Hannes Schmid, renowned photographer and founder of the Smiling Gecko charity, she is cooking for several fundraising dinners at Sonnenberg Restaurant. The goal is to raise awareness of the Cambodian project and collect donations for new initiatives. “Sometimes I pinch my cheeks and say, “Wake up, Mariya! This is just a dream.”

Un Fine Dine is an outstanding restaurant within the Farmhouse Resort and Spa. Every dish was a work of art, full of surprises and delights. The explosion of flavours, the combination of ingredients, the presentation, the look, everything was impeccable and exceeded all expectations. Mariya is an incredibly talented chef, a true gem and her team executed everything to perfection. I cannot recommend it highly enough. She is in the same league as the best Michelin star chefs. Dining there also has a purpose, helping Smiling Gecko, a unique NGO, which supports an entire community and Cambodian kids having an education for a better future.
